Albert
Responsible Individual
Albert is an experienced psychiatric nurse consultant with over 12 years of clinical, managerial, and strategic leadership experience across children and adult services within the NHS. With a strong academic background—including a bachelor’s in psychology with Philosophy, a Mental Health Nursing qualification, and an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice—he brings both clinical and operational expertise to his work. Albert holds numerous specialist certifications, including in Positive Behaviour Support, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Autism and ADHD management, and Trauma-Informed Practice.
In his current role as a strategic lead, Albert is responsible for commissioning and overseeing the delivery of care services, with a significant focus on children with complex needs, including those in Tier 4 and restrictive environments. He is deeply involved in multi-agency planning and trauma-informed, child-centred interventions, ensuring that care pathways are holistic, safe, and aligned with regulatory standards.
Albert has led quality improvement initiatives to raise the standard of care for children, mentored staff in best practices, and developed and implemented policies to meet national expectations. His work ensures that children receive support from well-trained, compassionate teams in environments conducive to their well-being and development. With a deep understanding of the Children Acts 1989/2004, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, and safeguarding frameworks, Albert is well-positioned to ensure the safety, progress, and high-quality care of children. His leadership is underpinned by compassion, accountability, resilience, and a firm commitment to continuous improvement in children’s services.

Maud Pipim-Addo
Registered Manager
Maud has over 13 years of experience in social work roles, including as a team manager and Ofsted inspector. She has in-depth knowledge of legislation and expertise in addressing complex social issues. She excels in creating partnership initiatives to promote children’s well-being and uses direct work strategies to develop personalized care plans. Maud’s inclusive leadership style and commitment to social justice drive positive outcomes within her team, emphasizing diversity and individuality. With strong interpersonal skills and a restorative approach, Maud provides mentorship and support to drive long-term positive changes for children and families at White House.

Elizabeth Tytler
Deputy Manager
Elizabeth brings a strong and diverse background to her role, with over five years of experience in the clinical sector and more than three years in a residential childcare setting. She holds a BSc degree in Genetics and has successfully completed her Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. Elizabeth’s academic background, combined with her hands-on experience, has provided her with a deep understanding of both the physical and emotional needs of the children in her care.
She has substantial experience working with children with learning disabilities as well as those who have experienced trauma. Her compassionate and child-centred approach is grounded in therapeutic frameworks that promote healing, resilience, and positive development. Elizabeth is confident in applying the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy), which she uses effectively to build safe and trusting relationships with children. Through this approach, she helps children feel secure, understood, and supported, particularly those who may struggle with attachment or emotional regulation.
Elizabeth has completed all mandatory training required for her role and continually seeks opportunities to enhance her skills. She demonstrates a strong ability to communicate with children at their level, helping them feel comfortable and settled in their environment. Her therapeutic practice is informed by trauma-informed care principles and attachment theory, and she works collaboratively with her team and other professionals to create a consistent, nurturing, and structured environment.
Elizabeth is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children, and her calm, empathetic nature allows her to respond to challenging situations with professionalism and care.
